FOR FALL 2022, ALL DAY CLASSES ARE IN PERSON  & ALL EVENING CLASSES ARE ONLINE! NOW YOU CAN LEARN ENGLISH FROM ANYWHERE!

ABOUT OUR ESL PROGRAM

  • Offer adult, non-native English speakers the opportunity to improve their English skills
  • Designed for:
    • community members
    • parents
    • future college students
    • working adults
  • Offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced English classes (Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening
  • Offer special skills classes: Writing, Conversation, and Pronunciation & Accent Reduction
  • Day & Evening classes
  • Students are grouped by their English level after taking a placement assessment
  • Small class size
  • Warm, friendly environment
  • Courses offered fall, spring & summer
  • Certificate (or digital badge) awarded upon successful completion of each level.

 All students in our ESL classes are able to use the Academic Success Center. Students can sign up for FREE tutoring sessions through the Academic Success Center.

  • Register early! Get $20 off each class you register for by Friday, August 26, 2022 .
  • Seats are limited! Students are registered on a "first come, first serve" basis.
  • Registrations will not be accepted after the first class

Associate Degree & Credit Classes

Students interested in advancing their education or pursuing a degree can begin with non-credit classes to improve their English. Bucks County Community College also offers credit AESL classes for those students interested in obtaining an associate degree. REFUND POLICY: Student withdrawal from enrollment and non-credit ESL course refund procedure: In the event, a course is canceled by the College (usually because of low enrollment), every attempt will be made to enroll you in another course or a full refund of your tuition will be issued. There is a $25 non-refundable withdrawal charge if you cancel your enrollment in a course. Your request must be received by phone or in person five (5) working days prior to the course starting date in order to receive a refund.  Course refunds WILL NOT BE MADE AFTER THE START OF A CLASS.
